By bringing its novel remote proctoring technology and service to the market, this Virginia-based company is rising to the growing need for secure online testing. Proctor360 provides complete, turn-key remote proctoring solutions—single camera, 360° total view testing headset, and a SaaS platform for institutions—to make remote proctoring easy and effective. “We really are the Swiss army knife for remote proctoring as we offer a complete range of low to high-security services,” asserts Ganga Bathula, Founder and CEO at Proctor360.
The recently launched 360° total view testing headset facilitates comprehensive visibility into a test taker’s environment, allowing proctors to fully monitor the testing environment. Ganga highlights that the remote proctoring market hasn’t quite changed for the last ten years and has been utilizing the same standard single web camera that provides a mere 30-degree view of the test-takers’ environment. This makes it extremely difficult to determine if a candidate is resorting to unfair means/cheating or merely looking away from the camera to rest their strained eyes. Consequently, a secure remote testing solution that provides complete control of the testing environment has become critical. “It’s difficult to verify the environment of a test taker at all times through traditional proctoring solutions. In order to bridge the gap between exam integrity and remote testing, we have developed our patent-pending 360° camera technology,” says Ganga.
Proctor360 is dedicated to providing secure and reliable proctoring services for web-based, paper-based as well as hybrid exams.

The company caters to higher education colleges and universities, as well as training and certification companies with a clear focus on customer relations and communication. Higher education organizations can leverage Proctor360’s remote proctoring platform to utilize their own resources—staff, technology, and landscape—for running a testing operation just like they did before COVID-19. The company also trains the faculty and certifies them to use the platform for remote proctoring. “We listen to our clients’ feedback and accordingly improve and enhance our technological capabilities and services to meet their exact needs. This is the reason we offer such a modular service, whereby clients can customize whatever services they require as per their organizational needs,” says Kranthi Bathula, Co-Founder and CTO at Proctor360.
Steering ahead, Proctor360 plans to expand further across North America and into the Asian market as well, where there is an increasing demand for these remote technologies. In its quest to go global, the company is strengthening its team by adding more staff, including sales and marketing teams, and is all geared up for another funding round in the fourth quarter of this year. Moreover, Proctor360 aims to continue investing in R&D to enhance its hardware and add more capabilities to its software.
